Our client separately acquired the 5 apartments occupying this garden square townhouse over several years, with the intention of extending and amalgamating them into a single-family home. POQ Architects were appointed from RIBA Stages 1-6 and began with a through historical impact assessment reviewing the original layout with viable layout options, before successfully applying and obtaining listed building permission.
Following production of a detailed technical package covering specification of every component, POQ oversaw a 2-stage tender and appointment of main contractor and cost consultants. The new family home features a dual propulsion swimming pool, 10 person cinema, 2 passenger lifts and restoration and reintroduction of original features such as a bespoke portland stone staircase.
